My sills are like golf balls
I'll get them done soon and fancy the way Robo has done his. I think he's cut the ends then folded the sides in with a big hammer, then welded back up and a girder of some sort welded on

Good job, seems to be a combo of bumper and sump guard, nicely done too.

But they froggies take their offroading very seriously.....

Could I have his details too please? I'm looking for someone to make me a tubular winch bumper, like the ones you can get for Land Rovers (but wider obviously to fit the 'trol) and with some kind of bash guard/steering guard possibly.

Do what I'm going to do & cut the hole sill out & put in 5mm box section

That way you have built in rock sliders & farm jack point

Here's Tommo's version on his Pay'n'Play tray back terrano

Look closely & you will see the sill is now box section

I would do that by my sills were fixed properly before I bought it. Would seem such a waste to have to cut them. I think I will be adding box section below it, With some bended tube to act as a tree slider. Then welded to chassis.
