Default So much for holiday...

well I just got back from a nice week in SW France...weather was fantastic, around 15C and clear blue skies...and a smooth 2200 mile round trip in a £500 Micra that saved me £250 in Terrano diesel!

But...................

...then I get back....daughter (21 yrs old!) whining cos her MoT has expired ("..oh Daaaaad sort it for me??"), son (17 yrs old!) has three punctures on his treader and doesn't know how to fix them, and wife informs me that in the next three days I have to install a chandelier for a customer, deliver a huge cupboard and deliver and assemble a VERY HEAVY antique bed.....

....I think I might just turn around again

..oh and I was RED and this just cost me a frickin tenner!!

Yeah but this tenner is worth it....

Kids always save things for Dad, Dad this is broke can you fix it ?
We spend hours fixing something that only costs a few pound.... WHY?
Because it's for the kids.

If a friend asks, we always say.... Buy a new one.... Tight ar**

And your problem is.....? You've had a nice holiday, your kids still think highly enough of you to seek your advice/help,your wife's business is going well and she still recognises and admires those skills which she fell in love with i.e ability to fit stuff and build things and your muscular physique. You are a VERY lucky man.

Dave, I'm surprised that you didn't know Richard Wilson based the character of Victor Meldrew on Mr Paul Luvgluv

LMAO! and it gets better, wifey forgot to tell me that the chandelier install is for a very nice gay couple.....I'm checking the public liability insurance as we speak!

Victor Meldrew is a sweetheart compared to me when I get going.....my wife and kids all seem to have selective hearing problems for some reason???

and Colin, the day I need sex advice from you mate, I'll be phoning in sick!
