Smile Hand brake problems.....

Iv had some handbrake problems with the Mav and the GF has also got the same problem with her little MGF. (I carnt have any thing with out her wanting it too) .

So, i did a search on here and found the "Handbrake" down load, it was a simple fix, take out the centre consol, ajust the nut at the rear of the handbrake, put it back together, Job Done .

The MGF, take out centre consol only to find out you can not get to the nut very well, 1 hour later, nut ajusted, put on hand brake and car rolled down the hill. Humm . Join MGF owners site, (In GF's name) and look through what they have to say.........4 hours later after a complete rear caliper strip down and re-build, she too has a handbrake.

Then to top it off.....I go to put tools away in the "Shead" and she moans at me, not to be long cos she not seen me alday as i have been "Messing" with the cars.....FFS

But on the possitive side, the central locking started working again all by its self on the Mav.

when i got wed (the first time) my dad said to me:

Son, every time you make love in the forst year of your marroed life, stick a pin in the headboard

Then after the first anniversary, every time you make love pull one out again.

I asked why?

Because son, you'll be pulling them out for the rest of your life!

I guessing with the comments then, no one on here has any plans to name the "Big Day" this year.

My GF wants us to get Wed, but I’m not to keen on the idea, like they say marriage is an institution and if i wanted to be institutionalised i would at least pick one with padded walls so it don’t hurt to much when i bang my head against it.

I didn't know what happiness was until I got married....
But then it was too late.....

I am happily married...
My wife tells me so every day.

Some advice for a happy marriage, Always have the last word in an argument.
