LWB better. My auto LWB used to tow 3- 3.5 ton round easily!
Never tried with SWB but feels like it could pull my house down.

Or... 12.5 meters(ish)

Bearing in mind a 'Long Vehicle' is anything 15 meters plus its a fair outfit!

..... and I still get it all up a loose gravel incline bridalway, thats only 7'10" at the narrowest point to get it out of where its stored.... albeit in Low Box, going VERY carefully!!!!!
Excellent stuff

We find on bumpy damp cl's low box with the van on the box is a god send.

I'm stunned you got away with that Mundy; the auto is rated at almost half the manual gearbox towing weight (around 1700kg versus 3000kg+ I think)...

My wife did a small show at our stables last weekend... just a novice show, but we're hoping to jump him next year at some bigger shows.

Here's a quick pic from last Sunday.

Anyway, back on topic... I need to get something sorted soon, got some more shows coming up, and I can't take any more days off work. If this Maverick is in good nick tomorrow (the HPI check came up totally clear) then I will get it.

If I like it then I can see myself getting another one for my wife anyway, so will take my time and get a cracker then.

Cheers,
Daniel.
Hi Daniel, thats a nice loooking animal you got there, just showed the pic to the wife and daughter(mad about horses) and they both agree. should do well in the showring. Daughter has a 14- 2 New Forest, called Pikachu which she has progressed to having outgrown her Shetland (Mikey). Show in Mountain and Moorland Classes, nearly always get placed, so doing something right. Will post a pic soon, but gettin late now n need to turn in.
Back to the MAV, Youve come to the right place here, good helpful bunch on here. keep us posted as to whether you buy it or not.
All the best WAYNE

Careful though - i thought the same with my 99-plater til the gearbox went at 120k miles and I had to pay £1500 for a rebuild (try finding an autobox second hand for one of these, its painful)...
