Some progress today after some issues we caused last week.
something happened to the electrics after a electrical short. So today we have completely got rid of the original electrics and will build our own loom which will consist of about 4-5 wires to the engine and ancillaries. We need a new more basic stop solenoid, but the main thing is we had it running today. Also had issues with our plan for the gear linkage, basicly did not work so we will attempt to put a diesel focus gearbox in which uses wire linkages for gears. |

I am no expert in mechanical engineering, but I think you have a weak spot in your design.
It is the X in between the front seats. In my opinion, it will buckle at the X You go over a hump, ground it and game over. I know that Rick will either agree or flag a concern... It is NOT over engineered, In my opinion of course..
