This is going to sound silly, but I can't find a bolt at home or at my local parts shop

Has anyone got a bolt for the battery fixing bracket that they can post? Beer tokens available

I guess the originals are around M8.

Screwfix have nuts bolts etc, but you normally have to buy 100
It is also worth keeping a few lengths of all thread in various sizes to hand.

I made my second battery clamp using M6 all thread, and a length of galvanised roof hold down straps, from Wickes. Some self amalgamating tape over both... sorted.

Are you venturing up to Naaaaridge? Cos I've got nuts and bolts kicking about as well as studding.

Surely there will be one of our members that is breaking a truck or two that'll have a bolt?

Think Zippy has contact details for cncfabs, why botch a bolt when you can get an original.
