its funny , i used to want everything. so did the ex wife.
until it cost me everything i was working so hard to keep. now i have nothing , i want for nothing. and im the happiest i have ever been . my life is nice , people like me more, my step kids want to be with me and say " its nice being home" its a much nicer place. my ex there mum still wants the world . but they choose to be with me and work hard to get what we need and have time to play and relax. only this weekend me and my new partner jo have decided, we was happier when we didnt have a telly. needless to say its going next week ( for a trial peroid ) |

See Rick, youve now set me a fair old task do I do 2, 7,08,1,9,4 and what about the 7 or do I do 27,08,1,9,4,7 oh such problems such problems.. Dont know if it would do me any good if I won but as John McEnroe once said "when you have nothing no one will give you anything of any value but when you have something people break their necks to give you something" So I would like to win it so I can share it out and help a few people

i have read this thread with increasing interest , as you all probably know i have met rick, mags, swifty etc on numerous occasions , even being privilidged to be invited to ricks birthday party , i consider rick and his family part of my family, sometimes you have to look beneath the exterior to find the real person .

I wish my life was simple!!! I just had the wife nagging at the amount lecky we are using. She got one of those smart meter things that tells you what you are currently using. I just had to go around switching things off and then she buggered off to bed. She moaned at me until I got the security light working in the back garden, now I've just had to go unplug it in the garage. The fridge was running away so there aint a lot i can do about that. Best I could get to was 585 watts, with no heating, no telly and little lighting. One of the kids will have their telly on im sure.
So this meter has far from made life easier it's made it bloody worse!!!! Rick I'm not sure what you do down there but if it's a simpler life than mine I'm gonna move in next door to you Jim |

Wind is a waist of time, water well it depends on how much you have and the head 10,000 ltres a day and a head of 10 ft will be just about usable, it might just run a 100 watt light bulb with a 10 ft wheel , Rick

No need as red derv is 55 p ltr at the mo, but the 1975 twin air cooled Lister runs on 50/50 derv/old engine oil when I have it, Rick
