Wheres the photo :wink: If you've got alot of thread showing on the clamps you could cut them off for a neater finish

Will be up tomorrow!! Well they are big clamps really and Ive put some lock nuts on in case of vibration so no thread left.

Ill just paint them black. :

So you fancy trying some lanes after dark on the 30th then?? start with Leeside, Hurstclough then up Pindale??

Not a chance in daylight ... never mind the dark ... you have more chance of my getting behind the wheel than me doing that section in the daylight ... but I would be very happy to film you and the rest of the lads attemtping it though ... :wink: :wink:

Cheap and cheerful are my middle names (although some might put "very" in front of one) 8O

Hi 4x4xFord I think it looks canny m8 :smile: If you eanted to make it a bit more secure you could drill the light bar & fit the U part of the clamp through the bar to stop any side ways movent :smile: It was just an idea ops: ops:

You could just drill through the bar and the roofrail and put a bolt through.

Good idea!! I dont mind ideas, just fitted them quick last night was getting very cold and dark. Might need to get smaller clamps tho, if they are the other way up they sit on the roof.

There is a recess in the bar where the thule bar clamps in so not sure its possible, and if you ever see me with a drill you'd shout noooooo!! a bit accident prone : :
