The world has gone mad

When can I retire please
Please don't anybody take this the wrong way. Isn't the way they have all these courses basically so they can lower general education standards but still get the job done. Similar to training animals, repeat, repeat over and over until you forget why you do things a particular way and just do it because the book says so? Turning us all into robots without the capacity for individual thought processes. I did a safe pass course a couple of years ago and the guy doing the course said that even kettles used on building sites need to be tested every six months to make sure they are still safe to use, also applies to fridges ,cookers etc. Absolutely daft. Willow you are dead right ,the world has gone mad. Whatever happened to people being able to use their own common sense? Isn't that how we progress, the daft ones get killed and the rest of us see the mistake made and say ,"sod that for a lark" and learn from it. At least, I think that is how it is supposed to work but now the daft ones follow the rules and breed more daft ones. I think we are doomed!!! Sorry for the rant, annoyed at yet another day without pay.

had to try and stop 2 members of staff leaving today all down to not wanting to do the tests One in tears

A lot of what they are testing us on does not relate to the job just how you do on paper. I thought nvq type courses were ment to relate to the job

So why do we have to plan a bus trip

We sell shoesand do not use buses

I have questioned some of their answers got the poor old assesor in a right
pickle

Ok here is an easy one
You go into a shop and you are not happy with the service what do you do

1.Carry on shopping
2.complain
3.leave the shop and find some where else you like
