National meets have to be as central as possible to make fair to all

How can it be a national meet for all if you have two or more??
Are they not called local or regional meets? Surely one national as central as possible depending on venue for all to attend north and south.. |

where would you say is central, or there could be a northern meet one year and a southern meet the following year, cos central is not fair to every one, as some members may live within 20 miles while others are traveling 200 miles!

If you draw a line between north and south, east and west you end up about Lancashire somewhere

But you could split the difference and travel 250 each for example. Yes the cental folks would be better off but how else would you make it fair. If you have a north and south national your dividing the club already. And the idea is to have a meet for all to attend.. |

no i would'nt 400-500 miles to do a meet, and i dont think anyone with any common sense would either, but i would for a long weekend (fri-mon) or maybe make a week of it, i know not everyone would be able to, but it's something to try and sort out.

Depend how far north your considering if your considering the most northern densely populated area or the most northen point. I reakon it would be lower than lancashire. |
