Default Nissan patrol 2004 overland ready

It’s now safe back in preston my friend, drove faultless the whole way home. We have some quite bad flooding around where I live so it was good to have it. I will get some pictures up later I’ve fitted the rear Jerry can holder already

Screw the tachometer mate, you'll be fine with some mental arithmetic

Actually, ask jay666d, he's got big tyres on his so knows what it does to the speedo

Most Y61 speedos read overly high anyway.

Think she's on 2" springs from memory so you'll be able to go to 285/75 R16 (33") no problem and they'll be 20mm wider and about 2" taller than your current tyres... AND she'll still read high on the speedo just not as much.

My Y61 was on 33s and still read high.

Excellent need to get some ordered would anyone be interested in these tyres if I get some new ones it’s a full set of 5 rear spare has never touched the road Neil said. I need to start another build thread

The wife and I are currently doing this so taking up a lot of time and effort but will be well worth it when we’re done.

Yes, can read the size off the spare (265/70 R16) and those are the same rims as my Y61 had. The 17" Trol rims look different.

To be exact your alloys will be 16" +10 offset and the steel spare 16" 0 offset, all 8" wide...

I ran 285 75 16 on my Patrol and would not have wanted to go any bigger without looking at changing the gearing, as I only got 18 mpg or 20 if I drove like a nun, down from 28 on standard size.

Kind regards

Russell.
