So, full day out today. Had great fun, no rain at all, and the wind made the pheasants even more difficult than normal.

In other parts of the country though some people got badly hurt due to the weather...

Have seen a load of beautiful photos from the Yorkshire Dales this weekend, even some of the exact track some of you guys were on a few weeks ago below Pen-Y-Ghent. Wished I could of been there.

Keep in mind this is a rough shoot, no driven pheasants, and only wild birds as releasing is a big no-no here in Flanders. As said, less dogs than I'd like.
Total bag if I remember correctly 15 pheasants and 3 hares, for 9 guns. We saw a lot more birds, and quite more roe deer than expected. So I have good hopes for deer season . This is an average bag for the area.

2 foxes were spotted, but could not be shot safely, so they got away this time.

No driven pheasant!

No releasing!

Already had one day at Ragley Hall, got another one coming up. Not major expensive days, just 100 bird days.

Rough shooting is good though, sounds like you had a good day.
