Just sorted out the receiver hitch on the back of my Land Cruiser as it was great having one on the back of the Patrol.

To put your mind at rest, the tow bar would not come off my Patrol, when I tried to remove it I knew that the bolts would snap before coming out so I had to cut the tow ball plate off and weld on the receiver tube with the tow bar on the Patrol.
Land Cruiser tow bar is in 3 parts so I just made a plate the same as the centre part and welded the receiver tube to that, also made easier by the fact I could remove the old one from the car. Kind regards Russell. |
