Easiest way to check the MAF is unplug it, no change and its goosed and by the pictures its well and truly unservicable.
Me thinks you need a snorkel  Terrano's are a match for any LR :

i took the bumper off before hand, i knew it was going to get a hammering. no water inside, luckily.
i will say that the landy was running on standard suspension like myself but when we were climbing a big hill which was rutted it seemed to get up a lot smoother. we had almost the same tyres on. a took a couple of attempts, yes yes, i know what your all saying, 'driver error' |

If you got a bosch MAF the cost is between £35 and £85 from nissan.
If its old stock they will charge you top money and if they have to order it, it will cost less.

Might be worth checking the starter motor. Took mine swimming but 2 weeks later needed a new one as it was full of water.
Anyone know how to waterproof a starter motor???? Mal |
