The problem is, the lenses are recessed into the unit about 4 or 5 mm, and has such a wide angle view, anything right by the lens would be continually visible. The Ram air could be interesting, to try it out, I could mount some sort of pick up on the rear spoiler, and pipe it down, see what happens. As you have a lower pressure at the lens all you need is a feed at ambient pressure, inside the car will be higher than outside while you are moving, so a feed from inside should do

Interesting idea. I could start with that, and if it does not work, then go ahead and fit my fan, as the piping will all be in place.
