nearly there, but had to spend a bit of time doing a more robust repair to the electrics in case we met further winch challenges as it happens we got every where in 4 wheel no probs, Rick

I like the hinged winscreen protector to save any broken winch parts from coming through the windscreen.
Do you often winch with the bonnet up? Good protection though, having seen those other videos!!

bonnet was only up cos of winch electrics problem and I use dyneema which does not recoil, but is susceptible to sharp stones, Rick

yep I knew it was there, done it before, trouble with these sites is that they change over time last time I could drive up most of the way and only winched the last bit, this time no way, but good fun except for the winch plying up, I like equipement to work, Rick

as it happens she remained mud less yesterday in fact I was quite surprised by the lack of mud this early in the summer, think I must give Picadilly Wood another go, Rick
