Mine sounds a lot more "tappety" since I've done an oil change, I did use a different grade though, was a lot quieter when I was using 10 40 Mineral

never needed one.pair of rubber gloves,grip it as hard as you can and twist.
if that fails stick a screwdriver through it.
just make sure you have got the right one if you do that
made my own filter wrench from a bit of cargo strap and old screwdriver,never let me down and cost me nowt

that's what I put in mine,it don't like that stuff from milners makes mine noisey.

I use a 1/2" ratchet

i didn't use the fancy ratchet thing in the pics, i just undid it by hand it was easier than trying to maneuver the ratchet thing into place
