tell you what banshee old bean, that list of links you put on, each one deserved to get stuck. ryans (dads) truck with barely legal road tyres,no momentum, the prick in the red truck that went in the ruts(twat), and the other idiots! its 90% driver off road, as said, i would get a cortina over there given momentum, aim, and a chance! chin up, do a pay and play day, i'll join you, see what we can do!

My mate who you probs know (Ben Jukes) his family live 3 doors up from you, he'll want to come too as he's just got his Discovery fixed, at least 1 of us has Difflock to pull us out

dude, ive had landy's. he aint goin nowhere we aint!! difflock on disco means 4wd all time, not hub lock like on terry. our rear wheels are locked, least card we can pull is 3, disco 1! (i think so anyway). did you raise suspension and was camber okay afterwards?2"?

When you say our rear wheels are locked I don't understand, I've had the Maverick in 2WD both fronts on the floor, rear left on the floor and rear right in the air to test and the one on the floor gets nothing and the one in the air just spins :S

I had to remove some shims but the front is now slightly higher than the rear and since I've had my tracking done tyre wear has been non existant

your diff is not locked im afraid, power should go to both wheels at the same amount, if one spins they both spin(good donuts in the snow). jack truck up, spin one wheel and both should turn, sounds like you have 1wd? could be wrong tho.

technically yes but under load i couldnt say, may be a question for the technical area. do you get a grumbling from rear when reverse turning?
