No need for a grease gun for this job, just a plain tub of grease and a plastic bag. Get a helper to standby. turn steering to full lock, it's easier to get at the leading edge lock stop and trailing edge of opposite side. Remove lid, place bag on hand, place said hand covered in bag into the grease and scoop nice small blob on fingers. Then smear over the lock stops on opposing sides. Now ask your helper to turn wheels to opposite lock and start all over again.

Job done, regrease when you hear the noise. Mine need it once or twice a year thats all.

It's a bloody good job I am a member of the Club. My French is not excellent and I cannot imagine going into the shop and asking for a grease gun for my Bump Stop,!!!!
You don't need a grease gun for the steering stops, a finger full will do.

Don't put grease on the bump stops, they are a rubber type compound.

If you haven't got a grease gun, you will need one to grease the UJ's on the prop shafts anyway.

best regards,
Rustic

pal, dollop it on the end-it will appear obvious when you look as it will be worn, but i just gave it a nice dollop and its been fine ever since. I just used good old fashioned multipurpose grease.

Grease on rubber is a no no, as I said before.
Don't know why you would do it.
