The breaker that thet have fitted is an RCBO (a good thing) which is a combined MCB & RCD in one device.
The problem with this tripping is that you have to figure out if it is tripping as a result of the RCD function (typically leakage to earth) or as an MCB function which is a result of overload.
If you shower is in excess of 10Kw (check the rating plate) then after extended use the MCB may likely trip.

OK so it has been replaced with a B40 Hagar, but both the Hagar and the original MK MCB's will not allow you to fix them in the on position, what is the KW rating of the shower, Rick

I have a feeling that they may have upped the power rating of the shower, and it could easily still be hanging off a length of 6.0mm 6242Y!!

THANKS FOR THE INFO.........I THINKS IT SAYS 9,8KW OR 9.6KW .....

YOUR RCBO IS TOO SMALL OR IS ON THE LIMIT.....BUT IT ALL DEPENDING ON THE HOUSE VOLTAGE / CABLE SIZE / LENGTH

The Mira Sport is available in 8.5, 9.5 and 10.8KW.
Difficult to tell but the pic does appear to suggest it may be 10.8KW, a 40A device is NOT sufficient for this load.

Think you are right there with 9.8, as you say marginal.
