Sounds daft, but i am thinking of doing my office windows, the sun in the mid afternoon can be very distracting - it keeps me awake

just a quick point about tinted windows , my insurer classes them as a modification and there is a hefty premium increase ..... sheila removed them from her car and the premium dropped by a lot..... if you dont declare tinted windows your insurance may be invalid

Your Business, ie your office You are discussing palels that are covered in tint to stop the sun, so Solar panels. Were you joking about falling asleep in the afternoon. Not a single word about 4x4 vehicles but then it isn't a dedicated 4x4 thread...

15% means light transmission, so how well can you see out?
I was thinking about this for use on the boat windows. Maybe a bronze one would be better. I'd have to see some first. How well do they cope with condensation, and squeegies, do they scratch the surface?

As daft as it seems, your other thread has made a valid point, so often we deviate from the original topic, which is often 4x4 related, but that's what makes this site fun. Otherwise it's like reading a car manual and becomming a geek.

do any of you know that you can get a film that absorbs all the heat onto the glass, I use it on operating theater high power lights without it the patient would fry, with it the light is cold and the glass in front of the bulb gets hot, there is a glass made by Hannilux but it is so expensive it would make your eyes water, but this film is by comparison cheap not quite as good but very very effective, Rick
