Cool A 2 litre Smart car... o.0

I think I've picked the right place to post this, if not I'm sorry!

This is a vid I made my mates Smart running on practice day at Loton Park Hill climb last weekend. The car has a 2 litre MR2 engine replacing the original 3 cylinder 700cc turbo engine. I think it's the best thing sinced sliced bread!

I have the same problem at work no ewetube, last.fm or photobucket. It's very frustrating.

It's the turbo engine but without the turbo for the moment, there's more than enough power to lift the front although he's just starting to get the car not to lift it's whels of the floor. The turbo may go on in the future if he's brave enough!

This was taken at Shelsley Walsh during an earlier meeting...

The engine sits a little higher than standard, but he's done a superb job of fitting it all in.

Yes your right, my bad I got confused, apparently the first donor engine which I think was a turbo one (3S-GTE?) was bought from a chap on fleabay & was described as running when in reality it wasn't, so back that went. The second engine was taken from MR2 with that failed it's MOT & is the 3S-GE which you quite rightly see here. So much has happened to this car that I lose track!

Anywhoo If anyone would like to see the Smart in the flesh it's running at Shelsley Walsh this weekend 15/16. There's some great cars running including two Dialynx Sport Quattro's which are just awsome!
