Smile new with a quick question

i have a 1998 terrano 2 and im sure the torsion bar sping has gone, how easy is it to fix and is it pre tensioned?

took it to my m8 who is a mechanic and he says its prob that also its sitting on its front end at drivers side looks lowered lol, need to find a place to fix it soon and hope its kinda cheap ( as if ) and it needs special tools to be fixed which i have not got

might be posable to reset your torsion bars. i belive the car should sit a little lower at the front any way. measure from floor to top of arch, all round. both backs should be same and fronts abot 20mm less.


so you could be lucky, and only take a very short time, have a look here

ah you didnt tell me that bit..

just been to get a new one or second hand one. a few Terranos are beeing broken in scotland. Ebay.

then fit and adjust

a whole new torsion bar is needed and got 1 for £30 so hopefully get it fixed soon!! cheers for advice peeps
