Default Wanted - Standard Terrano Door Speakers

I'll take as many as you've got please

As long as the cones haven't perished as below

I'm not interested in aftermarket as due to the door glass travel you have to find 5x7 speakers with very shallow cones so the magnet does not stop the travel of the glass when sent downwards.

I can't be bothered making adaptors and cutting door cards up to make a set fit.

Cash ready

6 x 9s will go in without adaptors. Ive got Black Airs in mine no problemo . You just need to mount the grill on the surface of the door card
I'll be amazed if you find std speakers non perished, they're made of gay cheese

5" x 7" are almost a direct fit. Didn't have any issues with the speaker interfering with the glass when i fitted them in my old terrano.
Mine need replacing as they have started to disintegrate but are low on the priority list at the moment.

I have a set of 5 x 7's here and I can assure you they don't fit

If you were to send the window all the way down you'd either buckle the speaker or more likely shatter the glass, the depth of the cone is crucial

Can't remember the make i fitted but they were almost identical in depth to the standard speakers.
I know i got them from Halfords but that was over 9 years ago.

These are a shallow mount speaker designed to go in car doors with limited space.

Vibe Black Air 6 x 9 mega speakers
Not the pretty install I usually do but wanted all the sound up front this time.

Here's the model no. if you want

They sound 10 times better than a working nissan tichy speaker

Jesus Pete

Living up to your username as usual

I'm looking for something that will go where the factory intended

I like those ones that Elty has linked, might risk a set as they are on offer. For reference, you've got 40mm to play with in the door aperture before clearance becomes an issue from mounting face to magnet end
