Bit of bad news
Don't panic!
We are ok, just daughter(2) and son in law have lost all there classic mini bits, Total pain inn the ass but will now just take longer, much longer! No insurance either, as apparently car parts aren't covered in a garage... |

Oh man that’s bad news, interesting about insurance. Was it a commercial garage or a garage at home?

Garage at home, well at his mums
Insurance states household only, do 230v appliances and freezer contents only. |

Yes gutted for them, typical of insurers and their get out clauses, I have no truck with insurance companies at all, Rick

What a horrible mess, but insurers are so slick at wriggling out of any payment......
I hope it can be sorted, and no one was badly hurt.... |

What a shame. I love classic mini anything.
Good luck on the hunt for more spares as they're getting more and more expensive |

Sorry to hear that bud!! I know a guy whos pretty clued up on old minis, he's got a couple and will know where to source bits from, he's more than likely got a stockpile of his own. If they need help finding bits let me know and I can ask him for advice/help/parts etc.
