Need new locks for the Mav
I had my Maverick broken into on Thursday and with the swag the ***** took were my spare keys.
No preaching please about making sure no valuables ect in car, I now need to replace locks and replace and change the remote fob. Anyone knows of the cheapest way or have a set of replacement locks for a R reg Mav. Thanks pete |

why do you need to replace the fob? unless you did the unthinkable of leaving the spares set in the motor?
not sure if locks from the earlier will fit but if you find out they do, then call mav as he is breaking some earlier specs |

You will have to get a new lock set from Ford / Nissan, this will include a new ignition barrel / steering-lock. Around £160 mark I think when I had a set for my 93 T2. But may be more if you have a chipped key.
As for your fob if you reprogram it the other one that has gone walkabout will not work and you can pick up another from ebay second hand. |
