Bosch is a good entry level bit if kit.
Built under "double". It can be on legs or fit in a carcass or fit onto metal angle iron fitted to adjacent units. Makes no diddly but newer models will have bigger usable volume and tend to have more functions.

Default Thanks Guys

Well guys thanks for all the advice. We have ordered a Neff from Currys today, it’ll be here on Monday.
Had fun with the salesman though, he was very pushy trying to sell extra warranty and a new energy supplier. He tried telling me that the manufacturers warranty is very limited and doesn’t covery very much at all where as their warranty covers everything even accidental damage, they’ll even replace the oven if it can’t be fixed and as long as we keep paying there isn’t a time limit on the cover. Apparently if a switch breaks in the manufacturers warranty it’s not covered or a door seal. Even tried explaining that if a faulty occurs due to a manufacturing fault then it is covered. Actually ended up getting quite heated from him as well. Anyhoo not worth carrying on but we needed the oven they have it ready for delivery on monday so we got it but seen as we have the salesmans name on the invoice I think his manager will be getting a nice polite letter

As I understand it the Sales Assistants only get commision on a sale if they sell "Extras" hence the push to sell you extra insurance. It is annoying they will be selling the Currys Cover I would definitely consider the Manufacturers Neff cover as they are expensive to fix. My brother's induction hob was replaced under warranty and when it failed again he was able to take out a Neff extended warranty after the second hob ring failed and it was not an expensive policy cheaper than the Currys one.

Excellent they kept to their word and deliverbefore 8:30. Everything would be good apart from it’s bloody damaged they won’t have another until 15th December at the earliest.

The search continues

The indian girl just called back and it was quite difficult to explain if Currys don’t have stock of another oven or model of oven that is suitable the. How long before we get a refund. I’m guessing they won’t refund until they have the oven back in their hands which will be a bind as we can’t just magic another load of cash to buy from another supplier until we get a refund. Is it me or is everything complicated these days?
It only looks to be the rear panels that are squashed and bulged but it’s opening up a joint, after paying a premium price I’m wondering if I should expect it to be like this.

I think I’m a very grumpy old git

Just had it confirmed that if Currys do not have stock of another model then we cannot have a refund until they have the damaged item back in their warehouse.

The buggers have us by the short and curlys

That is how the scam works, that is why 90% of the time I pay cash and take it home, when I purchase on line it is with Paypal and pay after delivery, so I get 14 days to evaluate the item, Rick

Well the new oven turned out to be a lot more damaged than I thought, looked like it had been dropped on its side. So originally Currys told me that they wouldn’t be getting a replacement until 15th into stock. Wife went back to the store this evening and funnily enough they have them in stock but cannot deliver until Sunday. As we had originally paid for delivery this was refunded to us. So it’s getting sorted just going to take time that’s all but it feels a long time when we use the oven for most main meals.
