New to the site - have a fuel issue but will post in the relevant section
Just wanted to say hi
Own a Nissan Pathfinder 2007 Diesel - had it 3 years and love it.
70,000 miles on the clock

Seems like I might have found the right place to get advice and help

I'll wait till I've paid my subs so I can post in the right part of the forum.

But as a basic - I believe its a fuel issue - at low speed the car turns off completely.
changed the fuel filter on the weekend but the problem still persist

I'll give more details on the weekend.

Do you get any white smoke when you try to put it under any load? I'm not familiar with the Pathfinder fuel filter set up but if it's anything like the Terrano, there might be a hand plunger to prime the system and manually draw fuel through so that you don't run the pump low/dry while cranking after a filter change. If you've got a fuelling issue caused by a blockage etc sometimes that plunger will be sucked down when the engine is running.

Don't rule out a dodgy sensor either, I'm sure the Crankshaft Position Sensor can produce similar faults on the Terrano.

Keep us posted and we'll try and get you sorted

No white smoke - but I'll look in to the hand plunger thing.
I have no set up a thread in the pathfinder section with all the details of what it does.
