Talking Just remembered a VRM " DHA1C" from my youth !

Last night a registration number came to mind of a vehicle that had stood in a car showroom in Derby in around 1967 for over 2 years unsold. The firm who I worked for part time traded it to another garage where it stood for a long time before they moved it on. The vehicle seemed to do the rounds via the trade without finding a private owner for many years.

It was an a gold/brownish metallic Mercedes 300 SE Coupe with just a couple of thousand miles on the clock that had been traded in for a different model. The car was in good condition but we just could not find a buyer.

I did an MoT check on the vehicle today to find it is still around with only 14k miles on her in 2016 the current test expires in October 2017!

I love stuff like this. It amazes me how it happens, out of the blue
Then you sit there thinking, if I'd have kept this or that......

Thumbs up Triumph Twenty-One 102ETF

Did the same with one of my old bikes a few months back. Wish I still had her she must be worth more than the £45 I sold her for back in 1966 !
