I too have been busy these last few weeks. I do have a list of jobs that need doing on my truck, first being the 2"body lift, and a list of jobs I want to do on my truck, better lighting in the boot area, a couple more usb sockets etc etc.
I've also discovered the carpet soaked under the mid row of seats See how my list grows |

I had a split in the bottom of the seal which leaked into the boot and down into the rear foot well. I pushed a length of hose pipe into the tubular part of the seal to bulk it back out and has been good ever since. |

Also check the rubber seal that runs across the top of the aperture. I've had to seal it down with sealant as water was running underneath it.

Thanks guys. Have seen mentioned a few times that it's probably the door seal. I'm going to strip the inside out first and get the carpet clean before resealing the rubbers

Inserting soft rubber hose into the door seal solved leak issues on my T2. But now I discovered a new small leak from the top of the metal panel replacing the rear windows.
I'll do that when it is a bit warmer outside, so I can take out the panels, sand them down and repaint + place new rubber seals. |

I too had the leaky seal. I removed mine & turned it 180 degrees so the top became the bottom. Some of the holes don't line up for the little clips (man on a surf board), I just made some new holes. It hasn't leaked yet
