on subject of 6 wheel conversions, noting one of pix says pro converted? on spare,
several years back used to subscribe to us 4x4 mag fourwheeler. some were giving their chevy n gmc station wagons, suburbans, think regular 8foot bed bed fullsize pickup as 9 seater 5 door estate, twin rear wheel conversions for trailer towing stability just as found on the heavier duty pickups used for slide in campers and fifth wheel trailers. the extra wheel and tyre (tire !) bolting onto existing but with deep dished 'twin' rims oh and big arch flares. yanks run much heavier nose weights and weight equalising hitches (stabilizers) to help reduce the nose i think, though not sure how this works. thinking ultimately truck can only carry so much (nose) weight. made for very wide trucks maybe T2 would look like been hot rodded? http://conversiontrucks.net/Forum/ga...09_2_31_32.jpg
