Default Is A Hyundai IX35 any good?

Dont panic all, you STILL cant get rid of me that easy

Reason I ask is because we have one booked for our Iceland trip, it is 4WD with mud/stud tyres apparently, I have watched a few videos on youtube and they seem to do alright, most running road tyres and get stuck in puddles

How rough can I get this Hyundai in Iceland without getting stuck ey?

It shouldn't be to bad TBH as it running MT's with studs fitted but Icelandic motors are often modded anyway so go further than standard motors take you camera tho as there will be a lot of 4x4's running huge tyres & we need pic's you never know you might be able to pick up a set of wide T2 arches whilst your out there

Colleague of mine just did a 2 week tour of Iceland, rental company gave him a Dacia Duster 4x4. No problems encountered whatsoever.

Although you might want to check the small print on where you can drive it.

The Dacia is surprisingly good, watched a video of it following a tracked vehicle up a mountain - it made it.

As for the IX, all I know is they are "alright" as said, but I doubt you would have trouble unless you venture too enthusiastically...!

I imagine you take it wherever you like........as long as you afford deposit and the bill they will consequently send you for the repairs......it is a hire car, take all round pictures of it before you even get in it.
Dusters are used out here by the emergency services........I know, I know, it's France and they are cheap Renaults, but they do seem to do OK......

I will certainly inspect the car, it's my job, I also do estimates so yeah, quite good at spotting damage

I will still get some enthusiastic pics
