Hold on a cotton picking minute, although all the suggestions are correct and accurate for "law purposes" I'm sure you can just tape up the lights, infact I saw recently some stickers on some headlights called euro something,
They stopped the beam flicking up |

that is OK for a UK car visiting France, but once you become resident then you need French stuff, Rick

I used fleabay Germany to get my Hella units, in German, called Shienwerfer, or some thing similar, quite inexpensive.
