Default Does anyone know about patio door mechanisms

Hi all, do we have any window people on here. We have a set of patio doors that appear to have dropped on the runners. Its a type ive not seen before, it has a large handle on the inside. When it opens the hole door moves inside the house and then when a catch is released at floor level it slides on the inside of the none opening section.
Its getting difficult to engage into the floor level catch and when we try to move the handle the doors doesnt move back into the frame unless we lift the door slightly.
Will try and post photos later.

Apparently they are lift and slide doors, it'll have to wait until tomorrow for pics.
