Default good day from Belgium and first question

Hello guys,
I have just registered me on the forum here, I’m a 20 years old Belgian patrol freak. The whole thing started when I was 16 years old, I was already looking around for some time to buy a 4x4 vehicle that I could restore till I got my driver’s license. Then the patrol crossed my path, I bought it and started to take the thing apart. I have worked on it for about 3 years and drive it now for almost 2 years. I made also my own bumpers and the car is fantastic to drive in!
Now I will explain why I have joined the forum. I am a 2nd years student car technologies at the vives highschool in Belgium. In my next and last year I need to do a practical thesis, off course I would really like to build a project around a patrol. I am very addicted to the 4.2 diesel patrols and it would be my dream to have one and make my thesis on it. The only problem is that the 4.2 never is been imported in Belgium. But in the uk there are 4.2’s I have seen…
Now my question, is there anyone out here that heve a 4.2 diesel patrol or know someone who have one for sale? You would really help me out with my problems finding one!

Thanks zjuul

Welcome aboard and that is a good looking trol you have. There is also another web site to try www.autotrader.co.uk but this will just be for vehicles for sale here in the uk.

Best of luck

What welder are you using? Looks a bit lumpy for a mig, but the overall result is stunning. Thanks for the pics. David.

Nice Trol mate
Y60 in the UK are very expensive, especially the 4.2 You just have to keep looking as said and save your search on eBay. Good luck.
I think I saw your rebuild on Patrol.com Australia well done .
