Default Terrano II boot size

Hi everybody,
I am thinking about buying a 1998 Terrano and I have some questions that you maybe able to help. Do the back seats fold down completely flat? I have 4 German Shepherds and I need the space when travelling with them, does anybody known the boot measurements with the back seats down? I am looking at 2.7 turbo diesel, what are the main things too look for when checking the car?

Thanks

main thing Rust second thing poor acceleration may be a signal of a failing injector pump.

yes the back seats are double hindged and fold down on them selves then forward against the rear of the front seats....

and the very rear seats can be unbolted and removed completely

Back seats can unclip.

Big thick floor covering. Dogs will be happy

Welcome aboard. As said big issue is rust, check sills and rear seat belt mount which is the bolt you see inside the rear wheel arch. Not really heard many issues with injector pump but there are sometimes issues with a small filter in the pump but nothing too serious. Usually one or two minor issues that we've all come across on here but generally nothing serious. No timing belt or chain to worry about with the 2.7
UK spec third row of seats will fold forward but never totally flat but they are dead easy to release with a catch. Then the second row will fold up against the front seats so makes a load of space. This info is for the long wheel base of course.
I fold third row up vertical against the second row of seats and use a large dog cage to carry my lab around.

If you upgrade to full membership there is stacks of info on here and a friendly bunch too.

Howdy dude, yes ur 4 gsd will be fine in the back, used to have shepards myself.

Our one dog now is so spoilt she lives in the center row of seats, but they fold down and the 3rd row folds right up or is completely removable. Heaps of room (on the lwb obviously)

As said the 3rd row of seats just unclipped & can be removed in mins, the second row fold down & then folded forwards i've had a few sheets of 4x6ft wood in the back of my LWB no probs with them laying flat
