We need the Mav to get up the hill in winter, as the run off from the fields washes the salt of the road, and leaves a thin layer of ice. It's a long straight hill too, Mav has never failed to get up it yet... There is a pub at the bottom of the hill, so those that can't make the hill, give up and have a beer or two. That seems a good idea...
