Default ISO Radio Connectors

Hi Guy's is there anyone that knows a bit about radio wiring?

Got a VW Polo and trying to wire up my nokia handsfree kit. I bought a gadget which goes between the radio and the vehicle loom, this was bought to fit a Reno but it's standard ISO connectors. The Live cables just needed swapping around but handily it has bullet connectors so obviously made to change around. Thing I'm struggling with is the mute connection, this seems to be in a completely different terminal on the Reno wiring. The company that supplied the gadget want to sell a new module rather than tell me the wiring.

The only thing I can think of Jim is to try & find the wiring charts online for both cars to see if you can find which wires which

Cheers Sweety, think I might just of figured it out. Problem with it is that the mute comes through a control box. Basically makes the phone call audio come through the cars speakers.

I'll do the smoke test, if it smokes it's wrong!!!!

Think I've sussed it out now Pete ta, I'm off work tomorrow so I'm going to test it out and see what happens. If the worst happens and I burn the house down with the car I'll move to Wales for a new start

FIXED!!!!! The Telemute Lead that I had needed both live feeds swapping at both ends of the cable. This allows the permanent live on the telemute control box, the handsfree kit and the radio.

Looks like despite the manufacturer making several versions they wires have bullet connectors so I'm guessing the different models have the wires connected correct way around for that model rather than different hardware.

Another problem now all that's sorted. I'm fitting a new CCM (Comfort Convenience Module) to give me remote locking. It's an original VW part but can't work out how to remove the existing one. Got to say I love V Dub's Pete, well put together but most of the time you can work on them.
