yuk! to both.
first one has the same lamp design as the ones im looking at but ewww!...
second one is massifff....
The small 6 led lights are only 2 cm in height. which would keep them snug on the lip of the hood.

It might be treated as a Mascot they have to be sprung mounted or fitted with a shear off facility to prevent / reduce pedestrian injury.

ewww!!!
round ones on the roof ok.
low profile for fog lights.
it would be nice to have them so there not even visable until there switched on.
I was thinking a strip across the top of the bonnet with 2 cm high lights with a fabricated housing to loog like a bonnet protector.

was looking at how many and size of holes in bumper for fitting lamps in,

then are within line of truck less likely to damage or be damaged. when you
look at how trolls gained fogs in bumpers think from 2004/5 potential there
too if prepared to cut bumper.

with those on bonnet atleast will know where front edge of truck is for parking
certainly when had big truck style 9"s on old t2 there was no doubt as were
visible even though mounted on top of bumper.

Noticed you have a 2001 truck.Same as mine, apart from mine being swb.And i have to say my lights are spot on(no pun)So i assume its for cosmetics that you want extra lights(Truck looks better).
Or have you got some issues, with your bog standard lights. And if so what are they.?
Just curious is all.
