I think you can see all sorts of things using grass but I doubt one of them will be a tele lol

It probably has a live feed, and he is just using the second probe from the neutral of the TV, to ground, thus completing the circuit.

Don't try this at home.

It will trip any earth leakage trips too.

Yep total bollyollocks, It could work if he has an underground cable that has bad leakage or as Rustic says he has the live connected and the earth is the neutral, but nothing is free, Rick
