A contractor at work had a Discovery on a 55 plate from new, it ended up with 3 new gearboxes and loads of electrical gremlins, never worked it, never towed with it. His wife had a freelander and that had head gasket issues, now has a Navara. He also has an x reg terrano van, which has done 200.000 plus miles.
This is one of the guys I asked for advise on buying a suitable 4x4 for towing my caravan 7 years ago...no brainer really |
