kingpin tyre review.
hello, dont know if anyone will be interested but i thought i would write a mini tyre review with pics for those that have never tried kingpin tyres incase anyone fancies a budget tyre/s in the future.
i purchased 4 kingpin a/t trackers and had them fitted this morning and have just done a mixture of road and off road driving and here is my opinion on these tyres. on the tarmac these tyres are very quiet and smooth which surprised me a lot and the grip in the dry is very good, they have also raised the height of the truck by approximately 1 inch according to before and after measurements which is usualy the case with most remoulds i think.the tread pattern is very similar to BFG`s (pic below) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...E/DSCF0417.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...E/DSCF0416.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...E/DSCF0423.jpg off road i tried them in a mixture of thickish mud, sand and grass on steepish inclines and shallow rutts and they provided more than enough grip for what i needed, they also self cleaned quickly without having to spin the wheels up too much. i am very impressed with these tyres for the price and will consider them again next time. please note this is just my opinion and i have compared them to my previous tyres which were pirelli scorpion st`s. hope this may be of some use to somebody in the future. thanks, paul. |

Hi devs, as you said they do look very much like the BFG AT's so hopefully they will perform off road like them to
