Default rear shocks

Any of you regular towers out there anrecent experience of monroe load levellers ?

are you talking about the air regulated ones, if so no, but I have a compressor from a Volvo that had them, great 12v compressor for pumping up tyres, Rick

lol............i had them years ago on a sierra and they were superb. Did exactly as described on the box and lasted ages. But that wasnt a big 4x4

I do tow quite a bit and the jeeps rear shocks are a bit tired. I wouldnt bother only theyre actually cheaper than normal ones

Hi Dave how's things?

If I remember right monroe say you should change your shocks every 20k miles.
Every car including 4x4's that have done more than 20k when I get it, get a new set as a matter of course and you notice the difference straight away.

I've found when they are shot the 1st 1" or 2" of shock movement has no damping at all (no resistance) and you can't tell till you take them off the car.
