Bloody Health & Safety
No respect for people who died for their country - dozens of monuments laid on their backs in Brecon cemetery, including this one for my great uncle who died in a flying accident WW1 and his mother (my grandmother), who was buried with him later.
Bloody thing was solid as a rock last time I visited a year or so ago.....and no plans to repair it either, so that a fairly rare RFC crest carved in marble (very prone to frost damage) is now exposed to long-term damage. I'll have it put back of course but the cemetery looks like a bloody bomb site now - this is what we pay our council tax for. |
