Default Use security screws on your indicator units

I don't know if this is old news to long time Terrano owners but thought it would be worth a post if it saves someone a few quid.

I recently had the rear o/s indicator/light unit stolen from mine whilst parked outside my house overnight. The light had been simply unscrewed and unplugged. So whilst looking around for a replacement I secured the remaining one with some of the hollow-centre Torx-type security screws.

Unfortunately, the screws I had were not long enough for the front light units (one and a half inch needed for those) and sure enough, a week or so later the thieves returned and took one of the front lights. The secured back one remained though.

I don't live in a particularly rough area, average edge of town type of place, moderately lowish crime rate I'd imagined. So maybe the lights were nicked to order as I now know to my cost that the local breakers yards are out of these. I managed to source the parts but it involved a bit of research and travel.

The screws only cost pennies, probably a worthy investment!

Unfortunately, I now don't hold out much hope for the plastic alloy-wheel centres, anyone know a way of securing these? (Maybe drill and wire onto the wheel somehow)?
