Oil burner hmmm!
Well I'm back home again having picked up my latest maverick. It's a P reg TDi 2.7 intercooler da de da oil burner
Is it me or is it meant to be 1st gear woosh,2nd gear woosh,3rd gear woosh, 4th gear woosh, 5th gear woosh, well that was painful! It seems like a very narrow power band/rev range With the petrol it was all grrr to 5000rpm 1st,2nd,3rd,then it was illegal! Is it me? Will I get used to it? ANYWAY one thing's for sure the oil burner is much more economical,just done 300 miles on 3/4 of a tank. Driven as hard as I could bear at 85 m/way and then noisily on the local roads home So I will def. be looking for some more POWERR , so Tuneit chip coming up me thinks Anybody got any other ideas for extending power band? Ta |
