Bought one of aldi's cheapo's a couple of years ago and it was total rubbish.
After using it a few times the starter recoil failed  I ended up buying a euro generator with a honda engine off ebay and it has been brilliant, starts 1st pull  You only get what you pay for. If you want a cheapo, have a look at the Wolf range, better quality than the real cheap crap.
