This is what is left after cutting all the corroded metal out.
Thinking about buying a 1000x200x10mm flat plate. Welding two 50x50x5 angle along the bottom to act as stiffeners. Then built two saddles out of 10mm flat plate for the gearbox mounts. It depends on how the other side looks when I remove the corroded metal. |
