Diesel Bug
Drove the Mrs 3 Ltr Auto the other day and very quickly noticed a very big flat spot, now I have a lead right foot whereas the Mrs has a feather, so looked at the filter as a start point, bearing mind if she does 3k a year it would be a lot, well I was shocked at the crap that came out, so cut the filter open and have to say I doubt I have ever seen one as bad, but recognised it as the dreaded bug, new filter sorted the problem short term but after drawing a couple ltrs fuel from the tank it did not look good, rather a dark colour for diesel so told her not to use her usual fuel station any more, (they fuel you up) so looks like I will need to do the fill ups in future as she is not pump able, so got some bug killer but not going to use it till I pull the tank unit and have a look inside, rather think I will be sucking it all out with a wet vac, probably will not happen till the week end as she needs her car most days, to be honest she could walk to most places she goes but at 75 a stick is now needed so cannot complain, Rick
