I would be highly surprised if the roofer does NOT want to put scaffolding up. Our roof isn’t that high either but anything more then replacing a roof tile and we are looking at scaffolding.
Our gutter is about 3 metres of the ground and the phone wire runs under it. Last time we had BT out he said that part of the wire is old and if we have further complications it will need renewing. This would involve scaffolding around half the house as they are not allowed to do it from a ladder. Not the BT engineers fault, he is only following company procedure but H&S has gone mad. |
